Parking is barrier-free in front of the museum or alternatively behind the museum in the street called “Seiferwiese”.

House rules
The Keramikmuseum Westerwald exhibits many valuable ceramic objects. Please observe our following house rules:
1. Please do not touch our unique objects. The museum is under video surveillance.
2. Bags and backpacks are not allowed in the exhibition. Free lockers and a wardrobe are available in the foyer.
3. Pets, except guide dogs or assistance dogs, are not allowed.
4. No eating or drinking is allowed in the museum. The museum café “Café Creativ” will be happy to provide you with delicious food and drinks while enjoying a wonderful view of the exhibition. When booking at “Café Creativ”, these guests receive a reduced entrance fee, which must be paid for at the museum ticket office.
5. We are a small team with many tasks. Therefore we ask you for your understanding that we cannot take over any evaluations of ceramics.
6. You are very welcome to photograph our exhibitions and objects. Would you like to publish your pics? No problem! We are pleased if you use the hashtag #keramikmuseumwesterwald.
Shop
In our museum shop you will find suitable gifts or a beautiful souvenir of your visit. Ceramics from local or international artists, jewellery, tableware, catalogues or books: the assortiment is constantly changing.
At the moment we sell selected objects by: kaas+heger, Iris Schöne, Maja Wlachopulos, Margaret Curtis, Terry Davies, Sebastian Pertl, Studio Sebes, Pim Huiseling, Hans Fischer and Svein Narum.
The shop is open during the opening hours of the museum.
Café Creativ
With a cup of coffee or tea and a delicious homemade piece of cake you can enjoy a wonderful view of the exhibits of the museum at the same time. Travel groups arriving by coach have the opportunity to choose from a special coach menu and to order by telephone before their arrival. For groups, breakfast and lunch buffets can also be ordered in advance.
Lecture hall
Our lecture hall is equipped with the latest technology and can seat up to 199 people in rows. The museum café “Café Creativ” offers professional catering. We are happy to assist you in planning your symposium or conference.
Barrier-free
The Keramikmuseum is barrier-free to visit. The entire museum can be easily explored via flat ramps and an elevator. There is a family toilet with equipment for wheelchairs and prams as well as a changing board in the foyer of the museum and in the museum workshop. Approx. 30 parking spaces for cars and 2-3 coaches are available free of charge directly at the entrance of the museum.
